The best thing about looking around on these wedding blogs is finding things on my "to do" list that are already done for me! For example... the list of wedding photo shots to be given to the photographer!  It's nearly 3 pages (after I pasted it into a document) but it lists everything I could want/think of and many things I didn't! Coffee Favors

I found this really cute little DIY coffee bag favors on Ruffled blog. My best friend and MOH to be, mentioned to me a coffee company that helps use their proceeds to raise money for Blood:Water Mission. I googled it and found this site, the 963 Coffee Project. Not sure if this is the one she heard about, but they do send a portion of their proceeds to BWM. Because I feel really called to have my wedding be more than just about an expensive day, I want to remind people that's it not about us. There is so much going on in the world around us that we need to be reminded of.  If we can use something like this that is both enjoyable, and a reminder to help others in need, I think that's the perfect kind of favor! They seem reasonably easy to put together as well.  Aren't they cute?

Recycled Wedding Gowns- For a Cause

I just saw this post from Ethical Weddings and I love the idea!  There are a few links of places where to donate your dress to charity. Or, an idea I find even cooler, is donating the wedding dresses to send overseas to places, such as Zambia, so that women who may not otherwise be able to afford a proper wedding dress, can have a lovely one to use! I think this is something I'd like to do and I would absolutely love to have a picture of the dress on that bride! That would be unbelievably cool!

Firefly Jar

I toy around with lots of ideas for my future centerpieces. I want something simple, elegant, and budget-friendly!  I first saw one of these in Urban Outfitters while browsing, and seriously thought it would be the coolest centerpiece ever!

Unfortunately, at $30 a pop and probably about 25 tables, that's way beyond my budget! Especially because I'd probably have to put some type of rustic foliage around as well. 

As I was browsing through an awesome Etsy store, I happened to find this! It's super cute and super wonderfully awesome!  More cool stuff can be found in the store or her the Morgann Hill designs blog. 

However, even at about $20 each, it's still a bit more than I'd like to pay. This is particularly true if you can do it yourself fairly simply. And I happened to find a place online where someone had done DIY Firefly mason jars!  So I just may do it, if I decide to go for the rustic route.  

For a link towards some lights that could be used inside, this is the cheapest I found so far. These twinkle!
